Biography
Professor Chunxue Bai was trained at Beijing Union Medical College and Shanghai Medical University. He was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at University of California, San Francisco, from 1997 to 1998. He is the Director of Shanghai Respiratory Research Institute and professor of Zhongshan Hospital, Fudan University. He serves as Chair of Chinese Alliance against Lung Cancer (CALC), President of Chinese Society of e-Health and Treasure of Asian Pacific Society of Respirology. His major scientific contributions are the understanding of pathogenesis of and therapies for ARDS, COPD and lung cancer. He has authored more than 500 papers, including 200 papers in SCI indexes and 30 book chapters. He is Editor-in-Chief for Clinical eHealth,Associate Editor for AJP-Lung and International Journal of COPD. He also serves as the international editorial board member for AJRCCM,AJRCMB, Chest.

His research interest is in the field of Clinical e-Health, Lung Cancer, Translational Respiratory Medicine, Bioinformatics, Respiratory Diseases.
